明志科技大學工程學院於 2025年8月22日(五) 舉辦「新工程計畫 苗圃共備工作坊(二)」,以「AI × 新工程教育 × 實作經驗分享」為主題,邀請傑出校友 洪錦魁 學長 蒞校演講,分享其於工程教育及人工智慧應用上的實務經驗。
本次活動吸引校內外教師熱烈參與,期望透過洪學長的分享,協助教師掌握新世代工程教育趨勢,並促進課群之間的跨域交流與合作。
工程學院院長表示,本校積極推動教育部「新工程教育方法實驗與建構計畫」,透過系列工作坊活動,協助教師深化教學方法創新,進而提升學生專業能力與跨域應用能力。
會中除專題演講外,也規劃交流時段,讓與會教師針對教學設計與課程應用進行討論與經驗分享,增進教學社群的連結與能量。
本次工作坊不僅展現校友回饋母校的典範,也凸顯明志科技大學在推動新工程教育上的努力與成果。
On August 22, 2025 (Friday), the College of Engineering at Ming Chi University of Technology held the “New Engineering Program Seedbed Co-Preparation Workshop (II)” under the theme “AI × New Engineering Education × Practical Experience Sharing.” The event featured Distinguished Alumnus Mr. Jin-Kuei Hung, who was invited to deliver a keynote lecture, sharing his hands-on experiences in engineering education and artificial intelligence applications.
The workshop attracted enthusiastic participation from both MCUT faculty and educators from outside the university. Through Mr. Hung’s insightful sharing, the event aimed to help teachers grasp the emerging trends in next-generation engineering education while fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration among academic groups.
The Dean of the College of Engineering emphasized that the university is actively advancing the Ministry of Education’s “New Engineering Education Experimental and Development Program.” Through a series of workshops, MCUT seeks to support faculty in innovating teaching methodologies, thereby enhancing students’ professional competencies and interdisciplinary application abilities.
In addition to the keynote lecture, the workshop also included interactive exchange sessions, providing teachers with opportunities to discuss teaching design and curriculum applications, as well as to share experiences. This helped strengthen connections within the teaching community and build collective momentum.
The event not only showcased an exemplary case of alumni giving back to their alma mater but also highlighted MCUT’s ongoing commitment and achievements in promoting new engineering education.
